Gren Folwell
Gren Folwell was appointed as non-executive Chairman at the time of the Management buy-In in March 2002 and promoted to Deputy Chairman & Senior Non Executive Director at the start of 2006.
Gren was previously an executive main Board director of Halifax PLC for 10 years, where he had various roles as Group Finance Director, Managing Director and Deputy Group Chief Executive.
Since retiring from the Halifax, Gren has built up a portfolio of non-executive directorships in the financial services industry and the public sector.
Executive Chairman - David Rasche
David Rasche is the founder and Executive Chairman of Software Solutions Partners Limited (SSP). David has been in the IT industry for over 30 years, running software businesses for local government, manufacturing and retail finance before becoming the Managing Director of The Ra Group in 1990.
Prior to leading the buy-in team of SSP, David was UK MD of CSC Financial Services running a £100m business.
He then headed up CSC's European General Insurance teams evaluating market requirement and solution needs. His experience is now leading SSP's expansion into insurance company systems.
Managing Director - Laurence Walker
Laurence Walker is also a founding director and the Managing Director for Software Solutions Partners. Laurence has worked in the Insurance technology sector for 20 years, both in the UK and overseas, in Insurance companies, broker software houses and industry bodies.
Laurence was Development and Corporate Director for CSC's retail insurance division before becoming part of the SSP buy-in team.
Laurence is currently responsible for both the Intermediary and Corporate insurance divisions.

Secretary and Director of Finance - Nick Bate
Nick Bate is Company Secretary and Director of Finance, and has been with the company since its inception, when he was a member of the original buy-in team.
Nick has gained experience from working at Board Level within manufacturing and service environments both in the UK and internationally.
He professionally qualified 14 years ago and has since been involved in the IT industry.
Nick has extensive operational, commercial, legal and IT experience, bringing a wealth of knowledge to Software Solutions Partners.
Director Marketing and Distribution - Nick Southan
Nick Southan is Director of Marketing and Distribution at SSP.
Nick has been involved with the marketing of insurance IT solutions for 20 years holding a number of senior positions within the industry.
He was the founding director of Key Choice Insurance Marketing Ltd (Now KC Partners) when it was established in 1994 and in addition subsequently held a number of board positions within the group company before he left the business in 1999 to set up his own Internet based venture.
Nick joined David and Laurence, the SSP buy-in team late in 2001.
Director Corporate Broker Division - David Waring
David Waring is Director of the Corporate Broker Division.
David joined SSP in early 2004 as Head of Corporate Sales.
David has many years of success and experience of sales and sales management in insurance systems, principally with EPG Insurance Systems and Rebus IS, where he was responsible for both broker and company markets.
David is responsible for all existing accounts and new projects.
Director Insurer Systems Division – Steve Bow
Steve Bow is Director of the Insurer Systems Division.
Steve joined SSP in 2005 from CSC Computer Sciences where he was responsible for their UK Insurance and Banking activities.
Steve has 15 years experience working in the insurance technology market, plus 8 years experience in Retailing. Steve has held a variety of senior management and directorship positions including, Group Accountant for HMV International, Finance Director of The Ra Group Ltd and MD of North Park Computer Services Ltd.
He leads SSP's Insure+ Solutions Division servicing our UK and European insurer clients.
Non-Executive Director - John Swarbrick
John Swarbrick is a Non-Executive Director, following the investment of LDC in SSP.
John is currently a Senior Director of LDC's Yorkshire and Humber Office.
Having gained a degree in economics at Leeds University, John went on to qualify as a chartered accountant with Coopers & Lybrand. After time spent in the insolvency and corporate finance departments he moved down to Nottingham where he managed a successful corporate finance lead advisory team for Coopers & Lybrand.
In 1994 he left to join Welbeck UK Limited as Finance Director. Welbeck was an MBO on which John had advised in 1990.
John joined LDC in 1998 to assist in opening the East Midlands office in Nottingham and moved to head up the Leeds office in 2000.
