Polaris

Polaris is an industry initiative aimed at streamlining processes and reducing costs in the broker channel. Polaris provides insurers with tools that let them build rates and underwriting modules themselves, rather than supply written specifications for software houses.

Software Solutions Partners played a key role in the inception of Polaris, and have consistently supported this initiative. We have implemented Polaris integration for Private Car, Commercial Vehicle, Motorcycle and Household lines of business.

Electronic Trading Electronic trading is essential for insurers who want to trade profitably in today's market.

We supply electronic trading solutions to over 1200 users of our electRa administration system and to major customers with specialised solutions such as Swinton and KFFS. We can provide all of these users with access to your rates and with the ability to trade electronically with you.

It is this wide user base, together with a large insurer panel and broad number of product lines supported, that makes us the market leader in electronic trading - according to industry statistics, users of SSP systems account for around 46% of the new motor cases generated electronically by software house systems.

SSP can support rates, documentation and EDI for Private Car, Household, Commercial Vehicle, Motorcycle and Taxi products.

SSP has consistently supported Polaris. We have integrated Polaris into all of our personal lines quotation modules, and can accept Productwriter output for Private Car, Household, Commercial Vehicle, Motorcycle and Taxi products.
